Mr. Rob Ohlson

Rob Ohlson 2017PAST Chair

Rob Ohlson, served as chair from 2014 to June 2017. He’s the director and president of Maillot Homes, a Calgary-based custom home builder and land development company. He also worked in the oil and gas services industry for four years.

He grew up in Tripoli, Libya; Calgary, Canada; and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which helped enhance his understanding of cultural and development issues. An Operation Eyesight donor and supporter since 2005, Rob funded the Bob Ohlson Center for Sight in Visakhapatnam, India and spent three months visiting projects in Africa.

Rob is treasurer of the Springbank Commercial Park Business Association and a founding member of the Ohlson Research Initiative’s community advisory board. He has a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Calgary.
