Surgery boosts a teen’s vision and confidence

After living with a strabismus — commonly known as a squint - since birth, 15-year-old Mahek, from the Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh, India, faced both worsening eyesight and stigma from others in her community. World Sight Day brings the Gift of Sight to the globe

World Sight Day 2023 focused on the importance of prioritizing eye health at work. During a screening organized by our teams at Nonogpoh Police Station in Meghalaya, India, staff received a free eye health screening.
