Sajida H. Shroff, CEO of Altamont Group, is an international strategist. She has over 25 years of cross-sectoral experience and impact investment expertise, across the development, humanitarian and government ecosystems. Sajida is passionate about integrating strategic business practices in knowledge organizations and committed to contextualizing solutions for positive impact. She is an entrepreneurial visionary and motivated self-starter who has built social impact businesses in both the Middle East and North America.

As a boutique investment and advisory focused on innovation in emerging markets, Altamont Group advises governments, INGOs and corporates across five continents focusing on humanitarian/development support, investment in smart solutions, and innovative practice that enables access and sustainability. In addition, Altamont Group, under Sajida’s leadership, invests in diverse brick/mortar and technology assets.

Sajida’s passion for advancing innovations globally is evident in the multi-faceted work she has undertaken. Geographically, this work has contributed to better outcomes in North America, Eastern and Western Europe, South Asia, Central Asia, East Africa, West Africa and MENA (Middle East and North Africa). Sajida is adept at managing change, developing processes, negotiating challenges, enhancing operational efficiency and pursuing steps towards fiscal success. She navigates these by recognizing potential cross-sectoral solutions, building regional and global partnerships, managing multi-disciplinary teams and promoting strategic alliances across cultures. Sajida has balanced this with a strategic focus, recognizing market potential, growth and entry strategies, and possibilities for profit and revenue enhancement.

Her experiences with global entities include the World Bank, IFAD, G20, EiE, INEE, Plan International, CAMFED, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNESCO, OECD, NATO, Dubai Holding, UAE PMO, Smart Dubai, Qatar Foundation, KSA MoL, MoE, MoT and AKDN, along with institutions such as Cambridge, McGill, Harvard and Columbia. She is also engaged in ventures to develop smart education ecosystems and sustainability planning including post COVID-19 strategies.

Sajida is actively engaged in CSR including as a Board Member with IDEAs, Director of Harvard Alumni Association, President Emeritus of Harvard Club of the UAE and President Emeritus of Harvard Global Women’s Empowerment. Sajida has a Master of Education in Strategy & Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master of Business Administration in Marketing & Management from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.

Sajida is from Kenya and grew up in the United Kingdom and Canada.
