Narmada is a Director in EY (Ernst & Young), leading client projects for regulatory, compliance and fraud data analytics. She received EY’s Inspirational Role Model award in 2020 and the TechWomen100 award in 2018. She is an impact investor in innovative technology startups in India and has a role on the board of four charities.
From programmer to database developer to data scientist, her journey has spanned several decades, three continents and multiple cultures. Throughout, her commitment to promote diversity in technology – be it gender, ethnicity or socio-economic background – is evident, and she uses every opportunity to further this goal, ensuring that technology solutions are built for the broadest possible user base.
Narmada is also passionate about contributing to society and advises non-profit organizations as diverse as Power of Zero (child safety online), Darbar (Indian classical music) and LERO (Irish University consortium). Her impact investment involvement spans medtech, cleantech and edtech.
