Ms. Sophia Langlois


Sophia Langlois is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Human Resources Professional at KPMG LLP. As a partner in their Calgary office, Sophia works closely with both the management teams and the audit committees of her clients and holds overall responsibility for the quality of work delivered by the firm. In addition to her current role as audit partner and development leader, where she is responsible for the development and recruitment of over 200 people in the Calgary office, she leads KPMG Calgary’s women’s network and is the chair of KPMG’s in-house United Way campaign.

Sophia has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with an accounting major from the University of Calgary and holds a certificate in Human Resource Management from Queen’s Industrial Relations Centre.

Sophia joined the Board of Operation Eyesight in 2012.

In addition to her passion for Operation Eyesight, Sophia was previously a member of the board of directors of the Calgary Counselling Centre, Panorama Special Projects Fundraising Society, Kids up Front Calgary and the “All That Kids Can Be” board sub-committee at the United Way Calgary and Area. She is currently a member of the Board of Governors at SAIT.

Sophia enjoys skiing, camping and travelling with her family.
