Ms. Lorie Gibson


Lorie is a native Calgarian who has had the privilege of working in the Calgary not-for-profit sector for more than 30 years. She began working in front-line service delivery and grew into a successively higher role within operational and then executive management in a number of sectors. She served as vice-president of international programs at Operation Eyesight before moving to the role of vice-president of community investment at the United Way of Calgary and Area. She is currently executive director of Calgary’s Juno Foundation, which empowers adolescent girls and young women to achieve strong mental health and well-being.

Lorie completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Business Administration certificate at the University of Calgary.

Lorie brings knowledge and expertise to the director role in the areas of program design and evaluation, program sustainability and strategic planning.
